How long will my balloons last?
11 inch latex balloons will float on average 11-12 hours filled with helium and around 2-5 days when treated with a product called Hi-Float.

How long will helium balloons float for?

Foil balloons can float between 5-7 days. Airfilled latex balloons will generally last a couple of weeks but will not float.

What is Hi-Float?
Hi Float is a liquid protective coating that is inserted into a balloon and prevents helium escaping as quickly. It is water soluble and non toxic. We use Ultra Hi-Float in all our balloon bouquets so they float for longer than normal.

Can you set my balloons up the night before my event?
Yes. We can set-up the day before your event and use Ultra-Hi Float but it is much better to have your balloons inflated with helium just before your event so they always look their best. For conferences and trade shows treating balloons with Ultra High Float is the best way to keep balloons floating for 1-4 days.

Is helium safe?
Helium is safe to use and is not flammable. However, care should be taken in the use and storage of it. It should never be inhaled as it fills your lungs and displaces oxygen and can be fatal.

Can I buy cheaper balloons and fill them myself?
Yes. Of course. Buying cheap balloons from variety stores and hiring a tank is a good idea if you just want party balloons to float for around 4-6 hours for kid's parties. However, it pays to purchase an extra pack of balloons as these type of balloons are prone to popping.
